The Local Sense Lab’s primary source of funding comes from sponsorships from companies interested in IoT data and applications. We actively work with sponsors to deliver valuable urban data sets and analysis, targeted brand exposure to key decision-makers in the Boston area, a comprehensive testbed for experimentation and product validation, and access to a wide range of tech partners through our research network. By integrating many separate research efforts from a wide range of member organizations, research fellows, and city stakeholders, we can pursue a range of research that no single company can match. We are currently seeking a limited number of Research Sponsors.
As a Research Sponsor, benefits include:
- Access to all of the research and reports conducted at the Local Sense Lab;
- Access to the raw data streams coming from our sensor installations, as well as to the integrated data warehouse;
- Customized consultations on new case studies, including a strategic brainstorming session;
- Invitation to member events.
